The man behind the world famous Speedy's Cafe...
Chris has worked in the catering industry for over 35 years gaining experience with some of London’s finest hotels. He’s managed cafes and well-known food chains all around the capital.
Chris began his journey with Speedy’s Cafe back in 2002 and expressed intentions of the cafe remaining competitive in pricing without compromising quality of food and service. He aimed to maintain a level of customer experience which exceeds that of larger food chains and has created a home away from home in the process of it all. His welcoming character, humble demeanour and tireless work ethic have earned him an outstanding reputation with his staff and customers.
Since accepting the exciting opportunity of being featured in the BBC hit show Sherlock, Chris has been interviewed regarding the cafe’s association to the series by well-respected national newspapers including The Independent and has even been interviewed by BBC news. You’re likely to find Chris at Speedy’s sharing the many magical stories of his little cafe with intrigued customers from all around the globe, usually over a cup of tea.
